Association (LGPA) web site.
The Local Government Personnel Association, a nonprofit
503 organization owns the content of all web pages on this
site. Some pages on this site may be viewed by everyone.
Only paid LGPA member jurisdictions and the Board of Directors
have access to all information. Nonmembers may access password-protected
data upon written approval from the Board of
Directors. All members understand and agree that their work
addresses, phone numbers and jurisdiction email addresses,
if provided, will be seen and potentially used by any or
all members with authorized access to the full password-protected
LGPA web site. Members may voluntarily remove or update
their contact information at any time.
Members who access information from this
site agree to use their membership data for government personnel
use only. Members may not use an email feature to send non-work
or non-LGPA related emails. The use of the email feature
shall be for LGPA related purposes only and may be used
for sharing professional information relevant to the mission
of LGPA. The content of all email must enhance the human
resources profession. Derogatory, obscene, political or
religious proselytizing email is not appropriate to this
purpose. The originating sender is wholly responsible for
all content of emails sent.
Further, LGPA members will not grant full
web access to contractors or other parties by allowing them
to use their jurisdiction paid and assigned passwords. The
sharing of individual passwords and usernames is strictly
prohibited. Members who do not safeguard their passwords
risk losing access to the LGPA website.
The LGPA is not liable for errors that
may occur as a result of using any data provided as a service
to its members. LGPA has chosen a web host provider that
is reliable and known in the industry. While all known security
and reliability measures will be taken to provide services
to members, the LGPA is not liable for power or system outages,
downtime or
other similar events.
All services on the LGPA site are made
available subject to this Privacy Policy. By accessing this
site, you agree, without limitation or qualification, to
be bound by our access and privacy policies.
